Obituary of Jerry Rhodes

Jerry Lee Rhodes, 58, of Parker, CO, formerly of Zion, IL and Castro Valley, CA, died on February 1, 2009, in Parker, CO. Jerry was born November 11, 1950, in Dennis, MS, and graduated form Zion-Benton Township High School in 1968. He received a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University. Jerry retired from Nordstrom's in 2006. Jerry is survived by his mother, Eula Rhodes; brother, Thomas (Pamela) Rhodes of Zion, IL; nieces, Heidi Rhodes of Zion, IL, and Gina (Henry) Blair of Madisonville, KY; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Otha Rhodes. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL, with Elder Thurman Ritchie of Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church of Rensselaer, IN, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion, IL. Friends may greet the family on Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
