Obituary of Donald Schreier

Donald J. Schreier, 79, of Waukegan, died on Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. He was born April 4, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan and lived in Waukegan most of his life. Survivors include his sister, Clara (Kenneth) Clendening of Eustace, Texas; two daughters, Sandra Schreier of Gurnee, Illinois and Karen Schreier of Waukegan, Illinois; family friend and devoted caregiver, Evie Geib of Waukegan; and his beloved pets, his dog "Amos" and his cat "Uwinabol". Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; one son, Donald J. Schreier Jr.; his father and mother, Henry and Amanda Schreier; and his faithful canine companion, "Andy". Services are private for the family. In lieu of sending flowers, memorial donations to your favorite charity has been suggested.
