I only talked with her a couple of times and sorry I didn't get to more often. She seemed like a grand lady that I would have liked ked to know better

I only met Elsie Ryser one time long ago, but I did talk to her over the phone one time and she seemed like a very nice lady. I wish I had gotten to see her at that time. Rest in peace.

We are very sorry for your loss. It was a great pleasure to work with Elsie over the last 10 years or so. She had a lot more investment savvy than most of the Wall Street fat cats. May she Rest in Peace. Barry Proctor & Family

We are sorry to hear of Elsie's passing. She was such a kind woman and it was a pleasure for our family to get to know her. One afternoon many years ago (probably about 15 years ago)she happen to be driving by our house in Zion and she saw my children, husband and myself outside playing in the yard with our dog (a black poodle we had named "Country". She pulled over and introduced herself and told us a story about how much she loved her dog that had passed away. She proceeded to ask us if we would give her our dog. She seemed like such a kind woman and we all felt so bad for her losing her dog, we agreed (hesitantly, but agreed) to give her our dog, Country. She was so extremely happy. She would come visit us with our dog (her dog) about once a month. She informed us that she re-named the dog "Tina". Everytime she would come to see us with Tina, she would bring our children a treat (Dunkin Donuts, candy, cookies, or anything yummy). It was so nice getting to know her and seeing how happy Tina was making her. She would tell us lots of stories, like how she would feed Tina with a spoon instead of just putting the food in a bowl. I know Tina was a very happy dog living with Elsie, and I am glad Elsie was happy with her too. We ended up moving (a town away) and unfortunately our surprise visits from Elsie and Tina stopped. We have thought of her fondly throughout the years, and again we are sorry to hear of her passing. Sincerely, Lorna, Les, Tyler and Tara Garbett
