OMG, I can't believe I missed Ruthie's passing! Oh, the laughs we shared going to lunch with her and Alice. They were quite the pair. I can picture Ruthie showing up at the pearly gates and interrogating Alice as the to mischief she had already gotten into, with that spark in her eye having wished she could have been on the coat tails of Alice as she got into that mischief! One day Alice came into the post office and I gave her a hug and then gave her another asking her to pass it on to Ruthie. When she got in the car, she leaned over to give Ruthie a hug and Ruthie started swatting her to get away asking if she had lost her mind!! When she shared that she was just trying to give her a hug that I had sent, they both laughed til they cried. Ruthie will certainly be missed, as is Alice. I am so grateful to have known them.
