Obituary of Dean Kunz

Dean Kunz, 73 of Russell, IL, died on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Hospice House, Kenosha, WI. She was born October 29, 1935 in Marion County, AL and moved to Zion in 1953. She was a member of Russell Community Church. Dean worked for over 20 years at Warwick Electronics in Zion and she retired in 2003 from Clark's Fiberglass in Fulton, MS. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, John; her Godchild, Jenny (Joe) Ohliger of Cedar Rapids, IA; siblings, Reba Gates, Ernest (Wilma) Harris of Vina, AL, Thelma (James) Shelton and Billy Paul (Gayle) Harris; 13 nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by one brother, Bernice Harris in 1996; and her parents, David and Minnie (nee Jeffreys) Harris. Visitation will be Monday, December 1, 2008, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, where a funeral service will be held on at 8:00 p.m., Pastor Michael Futrell and Rev. Curtis Shelton officiating. Private interment will be held later at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion.
