Obituary of William Miller

Red was born December 11, 1945, in Libertyville, IL, and proudly served with the United States Marines as a Sargent ES in the Viet Nam War from 1964-1970. He was honorably discharged earning several medals. He later retired from Waste Management after 30 years of dedicated service as a commercial truck driver in Libertyville. Red was a man that will be deeply missed by all the people he come into contact with, especially all of his friends and buddies at the Duck Inn in Wadsworth. Words cannot express the number of lives he has touched with his quick wit, unique sense of humor, and caring nature. Although he is gone, he will never be forgotten. Red is a man whose memory will be carried in the hearts of many for a long time to come. Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara; son, Adam Miller; daughter, Kellie (Michael) Locascio; sisters, Mimi (Russell) Wilson and Jessie (DeWayne) Biesterfeld; brothers, Robert (Sandy) and John Miller; sisters, Sherry (Bill) Powless and Mary Liz (Frank) Camporveale; as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and a special mother-in-law, Geri (Nelson) Smith. Red was preceded in death by his father, William R. Miller and mother, Anne (Miller) Riley. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at the Duck Inn, 15225 W. Wadsworth Rd., Wadsworth.
