Obituary of Leroy Watts

Leroy Watts, 72, of Golden, MS, formerly of Zion, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at home. Roy was born August 5, 1936, in luka, MS to Jesse and Leatha Watts, and was born again at the age of 14. He moved to Zion, IL in 1954. In 1956 he married Lorraine Bock, and they had four children. He married Mary Martin in 1975, and gained five children. There he lived, worked, loved, and raised his family of nine children. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Survivors include his ex-wife, Lorraine Ricard; four children, Mark Watts, Lisa (Joe) Pape, Anita Sell, Paul (Lillian) Watts; wife, Mary; five children, Debbie (Dan) Ehlert, Terry (Carl) Cure of, Roger Martin, Reisa (Trini) Gonzales, and Doug Martin; one brother, Clayton Watts; six sisters, Quinnie (Ernst) Johson, Louise Cromeans, Bobbie Jones, Billie (Harold) Pharr, Shirley (Paul) Daynean, Betty (Omer) South; he is loved by a many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Leatha Watts; and two brothers, James and Edward Watts. A visitation will be held at Senter Funeral Home in Fulton, MS, Thursday, November 13th, 2008. Interment services will be Saturday, November 15th at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park in Zion, at 1pm.
