Obituary of Grace Ruffolo

Grace Margaret Ruffolo, 96, of Kenosha, WI died on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Kenosha United Hospital. Grace was born July 21, 1915 in Lakeside, MI and lived most of her life in Kenosha. She enjoyed being a homemaker and was a wonderful mother who cherished her family. Survivors include her children Linda (Richard) Hoehne of Spirit Lake, IA, Cookie Hanson of Kenosha, WI, and Carla "Bunny" (Howard) Debevec of Winthrop Harbor, IL; nine grandchildren Lauren (John) Van Dyke, John (Dawn) Schaefer, Debbie (Randy) Spiedell, Mark Murphy, Linnea (Joe) Everitt, Eric Hanson, Bob Hanson, Jeff (Laura) Sommers, and Nicole Debevec; eleven great-grandchildren Brandon and Travis Schaefer, A. Grace Van Dyke, Jared Hunter, Julie (Eric) Knepp, Grant Hunter, Jace and Lakota Everitt, Jackie and Maddie Deuter, and Max Sommers; two great-great-grandchildren Colton and Strait Knepp; and one sister Ellen Petreman of Winthrop Harbor, IL; and her dear friend Mary Slivon of Kenosha, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl; one great-granddaughter Jalynn Everitt; two brothers Kenneth and George Vogler; one sister Laura Brand; and her parents Charles and Sigrid Vogler. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 27, 2012, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, followed by a celebration of life service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Cemetery, Kenosha, WI. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Kenosha Salvation Army have been suggested.
