Obituary of Margaret Smith

Smith, Margaret Louise Passed away suddenly on Friday October 7, 2011 at Vista East Hospital in Waukegan Illinois. She was born on June 27th in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Johnnie and Margaret Taylor. She graduated from Howard High School of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Margaret later married Percy L. Smith Sr. and 4 children were born of that union. She accepted Christ at an early age and served diligently in the Church of God In Christ until her death. Mother Smith leaves to mourn her earthly presence husband of 66 years Percy L. Smith and loving children, Ronald, Angela and Denise. Five devoted Grandchildren Broderick, Attra, Iwan, La Ron and Kenya. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents Johnnie and Margaret Taylor, one sister Eugenia McGuire and her first born son Percy L. Smith Jr. Funeral Services will be held at Prayer Garden Church of God In Christ 2813 20th Street in North Chicago, Illinois 60064 under the directions of Elder Charles E. Taylor and Elder Timothy Moss. A visitation will be on Friday October 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. followed by home going service at 11:00 a.m. Services provided by Congdon Funeral Home in Zion, Illinois. Burial will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Zion, Illinois.
