My dear childhood friend, I cant believe your gone. I'll always remember the sleepovers and birthday parties and many childhood memories we shared. playing canasta with your grandparents and making rosettes. So many memories. My deepest sympathy to family and friends.

Al, Branson, Danna, Jill and Family, I was so saddened to hear of Joy's passing. Many fond childhood memories were made with her and her family and the large group of friends that always seemed to be welcome in the Sorzickas home. Joy had a passion for never sitting idle. There was always something fun to do when Joy was around. Though I hadn't spoken with her for many years she was often in my mind and will now forever be in my heart. Sincerely, Julie Turner-cox

Dear Jill and family- I was shocked and saddened to hear of Joy's passing. We grew up together and spent a lot of time together as kids. I remember sleepovers and watching Dark Shadows and Joy scaring the heck out of me. I remember her and your dad teaching me how to drive the tractor and mow the lawn, and riding dirt bikes out back in Lyons Woods. So many fun times at your house. We used to play cowboys and Indians in the woods on our horses, and call each other the night before to find out what we were wearing to school the next day. She taught me how to drive a stick shift in her little Fiat. I think she taught all of us in the neighborhood how to drive a stick! We were always getting into some sort of mischief and your mom always knew...:o) I am so very sorry for your very tragic loss. Jill, I tried to call you today but the number I had was no longer available. I hope you will reach out. My thoughts and prayers are with you and her family.
