Obituary of Aurelia Murillo

Aurelia G. Murillo, 77, of Waukegan, died on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. She was born June 21, 1931 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was raised in Mexico and moved back to the United States at the age of 17. She was an active member both at St. Joseph's Church and at St. Joseph's School in Waukegan over the years and more recently has been attending Holy Family Church. Aurelia was well known as a massage therapist in this area. Survivors include her children, Maria Del Pilar Murillo of Waukegan, Gloria (Alberto) Trujillo of Waukegan and Rosa Rodriguez of Waukegan; two grandchildren, Esmeralda Trujillo and Leobardo Rodriguez; and one sister, Aurora (Chris) Juarez of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pilar R. Murillo; her daughter, Maxima Murillo; three sisters and three brothers; and her parents, Maximo and Maria Gomez. Visitation will be Monday, August 18, 2008, from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, where a wake service will be held. Interment services will be on Tuesday, August 19th, at 11:00 a.m. graveside at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.
