Obituary of Maria Crabb

Maria Crabb, 82, of Zion, died on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at Vista East Medical Center in Waukegan, Illinois. Maria was born November 12, 1925 in Germany. She was a member of Our Lady of Humility Church of Beach Park. Maria belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Zion-Benton Moose and she was a former member of the German-American Club of Waukegan. Survivors include her children, Lillian (Paul Hertel) Crabb of Gurnee, Margaret Kintz of Zion, and Doris Weber of Germany; seven grandchildren, Klaus and Rita both of Germany, Tina Rogers of Tennessee, Lisa Ransom of Mississippi, Todd (Brenda) Marcelain of Kenosha, Heidi (Patrick) Evans of Zion and Hillary Hertel of Gurnee: and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Crabb; one daughter, Ann Marie Miller; and her father and mother, Josef and Margareta Willinger. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 18, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00 p.m. until time of services 3:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
