Obituary of Marcus Pate

Marcus R. Pate, 61, of Waukegan, Illinois, died on July 18, 2008 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. Marcus was born January 7, 1947 in Tupelo, Mississippi to the late Melvin Leecil Pate and Edna Thorn Pate. For many years he was employed as an Accountant for Outboard Marine Corporation. Survivors include his sister, Barbara (Ellis) Taylor of Edgerton, Wisconsin; one nephew, Michael D. (Mary) Taylor of Wadsworth, Illinois; one niece, Angela L. Taylor of Homewood, Illinois; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Mitchell Pate. Services will be private for the family.
