Obituary of Lucille Clark

Lucille M. "Lucy" Clark (nee Hebior) passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014 in Waukegan, IL surrounded by her loving family after a valiant battle with cancer. Lucy was born on May 3, 1942 in North Chicago, IL to the late Joseph and Helen (nee Ornatek) Hebior. She graduated from Holy Child High School and started working shortly after at Chicago Title Insurance Co. where she retired after 38 years of service. Lucy married the late Robert E. Clark on May 30, 1964, they moved to Washington, D.C. for two years before returning to Waukegan, IL. She enjoyed traveling, reading and enjoying Door County and watching the sunset there. Her travels took her to New Orleans, California, Florida, Hawaii, the Bahamas and Europe. Lucille is survived by her loving family, brothers, Andrew Hebior, Eugene (Patricia) Hebior all of Waukegan, IL, and Daniel Hebior of Houston, TX; her sister, Theresa Zdanowicz of Waukegan, IL; sister-in-law, Donna Hebior of Pleasant Prairie, WI; 14 nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews, and many dear friends and neighbors. Lucille is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Robert E. Clark in 2009; her parents, Joseph and Helen (nee Ornatek) Hebior; brother Joseph Hebior, Jr.; brother-in-law Raymond Zdanowicz; nephew, Robert Zdanowicz; niece, Susan Hebior; and great nephew, Joseph Hebior IV. Lucille was a member of St. Dismas Church, 2600 Sunset Ave., Waukegan, IL 60087 where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
