Obituary of Anna Sievert

Anna Mae Sievert, 93, formerly of East Moline, IL, passed away on November 22, 2014, at Autumn Leaves Nursing Home in Vernon Hills, IL, following a long illness. Anna Mae was born December 26, 1920, in East Moline, and married her late husband, Frank W. Sievert on April 22, 1939, in Fort Madison, IA. She was retired from J.C. Penney in Chicago Heights, IL, where she had been employed as a bookkeeper for over 25 years. Anna Mae was a great cook, and a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors include her children, Ida (Alan) Dudleston of Wadsworth, IL, Gary (Nancy) Sievert of Clarkesville, GA, and Rita (Steve) Chelstrom of Coal Valley, IL; 8 grandchildren, 6 great- grandchildren; sister, Marilyn (Francis) Ballegeer of East Moline, IL; brothers, Floyd Schwenneker of Moline, IL, and E. Wayne Schwenneker of Tumwater, WA; numerous nieces and nephews, and other family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank in 2002. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 3350 N. Delany Rd., Waukegan, IL. Friends may greet the family on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. A graveside interment service will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery, East Moline, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Shriner's Children's Hospital, Journey Care Hospice of Barrington, IL, or a charity of your choice.
