Obituary of Judith Buchholtz

Judith A. "Judy" Of Zion passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. Judy was born August 7, 1946, in Detroit, MI, and graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School in 1964, She also was a graduate of the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, Judy was a member of St. Mary's Lutheran Church in Kenosha. She worked for the OMC Credit Union (which became the Heritage Credit Union) in Waukegan, and then for the Waukegan Yacht Club. Judy was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Zion Lodge #859. Survivors include her children, Gil Buchholtz of Las Vegas, Nevada, Tami (Doug) Balmes of Pleasant Prairie, WI, and Scott Buchholtz of Salem, WI; grandchildren, Nathan and Makena Balmes and Katelynn and Sam Buchholtz; sister, Joann (Fred) Habrelewicz of Chicago, IL; brothers, Larry (Colleen) Oliver of Gurnee, IL and Glen Oliver of Florida; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Josephine Price. A Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. Interment will be private for the family. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Heart Association .
