Obituary of Annelle Devlin

Rev. Annelle P. Devlin, 55, of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, died on Monday, June 23, 2008 at home. She was born September 23, 1952 in Akron, Ohio, was formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to Winthrop Harbor in 1989. Annelle, "Sr. Anna", was a Professed Bride of Christ of the Brothers and Sisters of the Community of the Crucified One and she served the Lord at Eternal Word Prayer Community in Winthrop Harbor. For many years she was a Nurse and Hospice Chaplain. She was the beloved wife of 33 years to Rev. Patrick Devlin; mother of Dr. Kathleen (Elias) Latouf of LaGrange, Illinois, Rev. Patrick (Monica) Devlin of Munhall, Pennsylvania, Gabrielle (Chip) Hosken of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, Ana (Matthew) Scanlon of Munhall, Pennsylvania and Joseph Devlin of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois; daughter of Margaret Polonus and the late Harold Polonus of Augusta, Georgia; sister of Ann (Roger) Heckel, Helen (Jim) Collins, Susan (Edguardo) Mucha, Maribeth (Jim) Quigley, Peggy Polonus, Kathy (Tom) Waddell, Bill (Maureen) Polonus and the late John Polonus; and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 25, 2008, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 26th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home. Interment will be Saturday, June 28th at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Conneautville, Pennsylvania.
