Obituary of Kenneth Anderson

Kenneth Charles Anderson, 74, of Waukegan, died on Saturday, June 21, 2008, at home. He was born October 10, 1933 in Waukegan, IL, and owned and operated Viking Crane Service. Ken was a lifetime member of Operating Engineers Local #ISO. He was a man who loved people and his hometown of Waukegan. Ken would always go out of his way to help anyone that he could. He always had a very positive attitude and worked and played very hard. Ken was a regular at many local establishments and enjoyed visiting with all of his friends. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include his four children, Kenneth (Amy) Anderson of Jefferson, IN, Kim (John) Banu of Gren Alla, VA, Lori (Tony) Reller of Roseau, MN, and Charles Anderson of Bagley, MN; grandchildren, Carrie, Mathew, Micheal, Tory, Jordan, Madison, and Justin; great-grandchildren, Kristofer, Kaitlyn, Elliot, Emily, Mary Grace, Colin, Gavin, and Braxton; sisters, Dorothy (Norman) Richardson of Gages Lake, IL, Leone (Bud) Macier of Mountain Home, AR, and Lorraine (Laurence) Friedman of Huntsville, AR; sister-in-law, Janet Anderson of Beach Park, IL; aunt, Pat Fallos of Bristol, WI; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by parents, Hilma Anderson and John Anderson; brother, John Anderson; and one grandson. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at 7:30 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 p.m until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be private for the family.
