Obituary of Percy Blair

Percy "Pops" Blair, 67, of North Chicago died on October 17, 2014 in Marks, MS. He was born February 3, 1947 to Mattie and Percy Blair. He met and married Thelma Blair and from this marriage had 6 kids. He is survived by his mom Mattie Blair; sons Percy (Nancy) Blair, Joe (Kathleen) Blair, Johnny Blair, Jame Blair, Eric Veal, and Vondell Wilbourn; daughter Johanna Veal; brother Booker T. Rucker; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter Jolene Carr and son Joel Allen Blair. Visitation Monday, October 27, 2014, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, followed by a funeral service at 11:00. Interment Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the family.
