Obituary of Pearl Schessler

Pearl Emily Schessler, 90, a life long resident of Deerfield, passed away quietly March 8, 2012 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. Pearl was born August 8, 1921 in Deerfield. She was a graduate of Deerfield Shields High School. Pearl was a member of Trinity United church. She was a loyal volunteer for over 20 years at the Highland Park Hospital. Pearl was also proud to have worked for Abbott Laboratories during the war. She enjoyed antiques and loved to spend time with her grandson, Benjamin. Pearl is survived by her sons Terry, Lerry and Tim; one grandson Benjamin; and two sisters, Betty Lewis and Lenore Shannon. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Francis "Joe" Schessler; and two sisters Edna Penn and Frances Schessler. Services will be private for the family.
