Obituary of Robert Hanna

Robert W. "Bob" Hanna of Winthrop Harbor, IL, formerly of Waukegan, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 4, 2014, at home, surrounded by friends and family. Bob was born October 27, 1937, in Waukegan, and married Faith Kline, July 27, 1957, in Waukegan. He was an active and faithful member of Wesley Church in Waukegan. Bob was a retired plumber with Local #93 and also served as a plumbing inspector for the villages of Beach Park and Winthrop Harbor. He was a wonderful loving husband , father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be sorely missed by all. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Faith Hanna; children, Louise (Kevin) Stolarik of Lake Villa, IL, David (JoAnn) Hanna of Grayslake, IL, and Arick (Elizabeth) Hanna of Kenosha, WI; grandchildren, Matt, Jared, Kristy, Katie,Tyler, Arick, Brittany, Kennedy, and Bobby; 4 step-grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Betty) Hanna of Florida and Thomas (Ann) Hanna of Winthrop Harbor, IL; daughter-in-law, Dawn Hanna of Zion, IL; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son, Lewis Hanna; brothers, Bud and Jim Hanna; and parents, Harold and Katherine Hanna. Visitation will be Sunday, September 7, 2014, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Wesley Church, 3601 N Lewis Ave., Waukegan, IL. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 8, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at Wesley Church with private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Wesley Church have been suggested.
