Obituary of Adeline Hedding

Adeline "Della" Hedding, of Zion, died on Friday, May 23, 2008 at Terrace Nursing Home in Waukegan. She was born in Waukegan and moved to Zion 58 years ago from North Chicago. She was a member of Our Lady Humility Church of Beach Park and was a retired hairdresser in Waukegan. She was also a member of W.O.N. of Lake County and the Waukegan Senior Citizens. Survivors include her sons, Roger (Kathy) Hedding of Dousman, WI and Ralph D. (Judi) Hedding of Johannesburg, South Africa; seven grandchildren, Brian, Joel, Paula, Stacey, Ian, Taylor, and Jordan; two great-grandchildren, Luke and Jack; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph J. Hedding in 1981; siblings, Lillian, Sally, Irene, Florence, Harriet, and Raymond; and parents, Ignatz and Mary Perkowski. Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, June 2, 2008, at 10:00 am, at Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 W. Wadsworth Road, Beach Park. Entombment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. Visitation will be Monday, June 2nd, from 9:00 am until time of Mass at Our Lady of Humility Church. Memorial donations to Our Lady of Humility Church have been suggested.
