Obituary of Joseph Fischer

Joseph "Joey" M. Fischer, 18, of Waukegan, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at his home. He was born October 10, 1989 in Waukegan. Joey was in his Senior year at Warren Township High School and he attended C.L.C. Tech Campus in Grayslake. Joey loved the outdoors, especially camping, hunting, fishing, dirt biking, ATV's, snowmobiling and BMX to name a few. He was loved by all who knew him. Survivors include his mother, Laura L. Fischer of Waukegan; his father, Steven (Laura B.) Fischer of Winthrop Harbor; siblings Heather, Dalton, and Kali Fischer all of Waukegan, Steven (Cassie) Fischer Jr. of New Muenster, Wisconsin, Stefanie Fischer of Burlington, Wisconsin,, Meghan Hradisky of Winthrop Harbor and Mark and Matt Hradisky both of California; maternal grandparents Nick & Honey Lynn of Beach Park; paternal grandparents James & Janice Fischer of Florida, Linda & Donald Dunn of Florida and Donald and June Cermak of Wadsworth; aunts and uncles Dawn (Craig) Maier and Nick Lynn Jr. both of Spring Grove, Lisa Doetsch of Beach Park, Wendy (Gerry) Fry of England and Debbie Fischer of Florida; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Barbara Lynn. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, with Pastor Ron Greene of North Prairie United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery, Newport Township. Visitation will be Monday, May 12th, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home.
