My best memory was visiting Gramma and Jerry in Chicago when I was young. I got to taste test a lot of the candy at the store she worked at and she gave me money to play video games in the mall. Just about the best a 12yr old could ask for. They also took me to Soldiers Field for a bears game. She was always kind and loving and had a calming effect. Thanks for all your love Gramma!!

I certainly got lucky when Bea became my mother-in-law in 1992 when Carl and I married. She and Jerry were able to be there for our special day. She was very dear to me and such a sweet person. I always enjoyed my time with her especially when she and Jerry would come down to Marco Island and we walked and talked while strolling the beach. Those are my most fond memories of my time with her. She always seemed so happy there. She had a big heart and always a smile for everyone. We will surely miss you Bea..I love you.

My mom was such a great mom. She did so much for me and I didn't always appreciate all she did at the time. She was usually right about things. I am most grateful that she and Jerry were together for all those years. One story that always stands out in my mind is that when I was in Vietnam, she sent me a subscription to Readers Digest for my birthday. I thought what am I going to do with this? I ended up looking forward to that every month! I will miss you mom. I love you. Your son, Carl

There is nothing in life as strong as the love of a mother. My mother was no exception. Mom was a kind and gentle woman. She had such a spirit of wisdom and with that beautiful smile, was always able to give me just the right advice no matter waht the situation. After my siblings left, for yearsw it was just me and mom. I love you mom and will dearly miss you, you will always be in my heart as a loving beautiful mom.

Bea was a dear companion to our father, Jerry Maratea, for many years. They shared wonderful travel memories and always were there for each other. Bea was a constant source of support to our father and will be sorely missed. Bea and Jerry were true soul mates.

Mom Anderson was a gentle woman who had a great sense of humor. Ever since Pat and I became friends I always called her Mom:) She was very stylish in her dress, loved reading books and really enjoyed Life. Am happy she enjoyed her later years because she was a hard worker all her life. We exchanged Christmas cards for years until her memory faded. Losing your Mother is not easy at all and I pray Pat, Lonnie and Carl will find comfort in time. May her soul rest in peace.
