Obituary of Irene Morgan

Irene Morgan, 53, of Zion, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 3, 2008. She was born March 5, 1955 in Hughes, Arkansas, and came to Waukegan at an early age. She attended Christ Community Church in Zion. Irene was an avid gardener and she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, William; children, Michael Morgan of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, Angelita (Matthew) Wilkins of Gurnee, Theresa (Phil) Dugger of Lindenhurst, John (Fiancee Ivelisse) Cruz of Zion and William (Fiancee Katrina) Morgan Jr. of Zion; grandchildren, Veronica, Joshua, Chelsey, Zachary, Jacob, Mackanzie, Matthew, Jonathan, Austin, Hayden and baby Ariana on the way; her father and mother, Isaac and Martha Gonzalez of Zion; and siblings, Sonny, Isaac Jr., Danny, Henry, Trini, Robert, Richard, Maryann, Nancy, Hilda and Diane. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2008, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 7th, at 10:30 a.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home with Pastor Jon Wiziarde of Christ Community Church of Zion officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion.
