I remember Dorothy well and especially her husband Gene. He was my foreman for many years until I became head shipping/receiving clerk and later Traffic Manager when I moved upstairs. He was a gentle soul and never hollered when I messed up. One summer (when I was very young, a friend and I went up to a bar for lunch and got back late. There was Gene running my wrapping machine. He never said a word, and believe me, I was NEVER late again..!!!!! I remember giving him a ride home one evening when we were working late, his and Dorothy's house was on Ezra. I often drive by it in remembrance of a great couple. In a way, he was like the Dad I never had....he often talked of his daughters.....
