Obituary of Joyce Couch

Joyce Evelyn Couch, 70, of Zion, died on Saturday, July 26, 2008, at Hospitality Nursing & Rehab Center in Kenosha, Wl. Joyce was born on April 4, 1938 in Columbus, OH, and was a 1956 graduate of Wayne High School in Dayton, OH. She married Lee Couch on October 8, 1958. Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family. Survivors include five children, Cindy (William Strong) Sewell of Burlington, WI, Michael (Linda) Couch of Zion, IL, Valarie Couch of Zion, IL, Susan (Michael) Tahtinen of Casa Grande, AZ, and Jeff Couch of Phoenix, AZ; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis (John) Rhoades of Kettering, OH, Patsy (Bill) Wright of Centerville, OH, and Sharon (Ken) Neff of Torrance, CA; a brother, Arthur Mathew of Sunburst, MT; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee in 1985; and father and mother, Arthur and Eva Mathew. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial- Park, Zion. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m until the time of service at the funeral home.
